Simple to use for a newbie to do some editing. I wish they had more detailed instructions for some of the more complicated edit options they offer. Would def get into trying them out but being new to editing, their instructions aren’t step-by-step. And that’s pretty much what I need at this point. That being said, the easier options are just that– easy peasy!!
All I want out of life is an editor THAT WORKS! This one does not. When you click on options such as removal- it opens the option … Then WON’T DO ANYTHING. You save an edited image- IT DOESN’T SAVE and you lose all your work. I rarely can edit a single image without an issue. I have been a Premium member for a couple years. Never again!! (And yes. I have tried re-installing it).
PhotoDirector is the leader in photo editing. Easy to use with great features. It’s everything you need in one app. So why only 3 stars? Your limitations to basic features. I’m in customer service. Trend have shifted to inflated prices, increased limitations, decrease in services and imposing high fees for the services. You app is The Best on the market. So offer a free trial period and make it a fully paid app. That would be the honest thing to do.
Useless. Downloaded this app because the description said you could use it to replace backgrounds. UNTRUE!!! I opened one picture and tried to use the feature. Instant pop-up saying that you can only do that one a day (first picture and I definetly hadn’t used the feature yet). Also would not let me unlock more tries. Absolutely useless app. Uninstall!
Oh it carries on its Legacy as being a professional photo editing program from PC days. Once in awhile I don’t understand why it does the things it does but I’m not one to really get down and read like I should and understand.(1%of the time) Plus I just expect at any time that they’re going to charge me if I want to continue using it so trying to use other things in lieu of losing this if that happens because I’m running out of money people for all these crazy expensive apps. You feel me?
I love this app. I’ve been using it for four years now and it just came up for renewal so I asked myself if I wanted to renew. And yes I do because there are always new frames, features, looks, etc. I utilize them for my pet hedgehog pet business and though I’m not the best at editing, it’s always a work in progress with all the options!
Been using for years to make thumbnails and edit pictures works great and i would recommend to anyone! Still true 2 years after I wrote this!!! Oh but one thing it lags sometimes really badly on the Chromebook but I don’t know if thats the fault of the app or my device but I closed everything and It still ran very badly I restarted and it fixed it for one photo and then it acted up again had to redownload on my phone which I don’t mind but if something is going on I’m just lyk Still best app!
Your “new” cartoon filter has been available on dozens of free photo apps for about eight years now. Ditto for your “new” AI filters. Your app was cutting edge many years ago. Now it’s a collection of antiquated gimmicks that rarely get used on free apps. But you want to charge a premium for them? Yeah. Good luck with that! Lol
Very frustrated with the constant changes to the text parameter of the app. I have used this app for years and the last 2 months has been frustrating enough to find a new app. Today’s changes made the app unusable for my needs. For goodness sakes leave that aspect alone………after changing it from the poor way it currently is. Back to normal would be nice
I am new to PhotoDirector. I needed a way to crop and make some simple edits to screen captured images as well as newly generated images that needed adjustment prior to posting and didn’t want to wait to do in Photoshop on my home computer. So far so good. It does everything I need and I am pretty sure it will provide a lot of useful tools for me to explore. I learned about it from their video editing package PowerDirector. it rates very highly (phone/computer) and seems fairly simple to use.
