Outstanding. Full-featured yet not overly complicated. The paid version not only eliminates ads, but allows for creating a customized view. The 90 Minute Weather feature is very helpful, as is the 14 Day Forecast. Very well thought out application overall. The best weather app I’ve seen. Highly recommended.
The app has some great features, is detailed, and seems accurate. However, you can’t swipe to quickly check on other locations you’ve saved as you can with other weather apps. It is more cumbersome to view, for example, weather at wotk or where you plan to travel. And the widget is very limited on what you can display. For me, it’s slways the little details that make an app great. This app doesn’t have those details.
No app is perfect but this one is a keeper. It’s simple and to the point without a lot of unnecessary glam. The ads don’t seem to be in the way or cumbersome. It appears logically put together starting with current weather, scrolling down to daily, weekly and extended forcasts, then followed by the radar. The radar is serviceable but could be a bit better as long as it doesn’t require a great deal of space or memory to run.
Lots of good info, but complex to use. Remove ads is very expensive … I think over $1 per month, so it’s a continual cost every month, not just a one-time purchase. Also, maps are not accurate. I tried use it at lake gaston nc and the map of the lake bears little resemblance to the actual lake shape. That, and the inability to zoom in close, makes it very limited. Also, I need a weather app, not a news channel. So all those news stories about west coast or other far off areas are just clutter.
Not all that impressive. It has pretty sloppy map graphics. Seems poorly organized and has way too many ads. Probably more ads than the weather channel app, which is hard to do. All of the screenshots are from a subscription. There are ads everywhere. The cost for removing those ads is way too high. Other weather apps don’t charge half that to remove ads, and are permanent not a subscription. So, yeah not all that impressive. I’m not sure how this has 4.5 star average.
Only been using for a few days but local weather has been right on point. The ability to add on other places of interest across the country and gave their weather on hand is also a plus. The weather maps, wind advisory map, and warning alerts are also a big plus. As well to have the options if and Ad. Ap, or Free Ap is also an advantage. No.problems as of yet! Will keep you updated.
Have had this a few days and am going to uninstall. I find it hard to read with too much stuff on the screen and hard to spot the change from one day to another. I seldom ever want or need the hourly temps but that is the main focus of this app. Temps are not even close for my part of the county. I want something at a glance with forecast, temp, and radar I can click or skip. In depth on the temps, and forecast within easy reach.
So far so good. Need a bit more time though with this app before rating 5🌟s. I believe I’ve tried every weather/clock app on the Google Play Store over the past 6 months. I wanted a specific look particularly the background showing a very real representative of the weather outside my front door. And Weather Online does it better than the others. And it doesn’t need a press of the refresh button as it is “always” already current on it’s very own.
I love the app. Right amount of information but not cluttered. Nice visual interface. The only thing that I would change is give folks ability to change to the radar color pallette. I am so use to green for rain, pinks for sleet/freezing rain and blue for snow that anything else is distracting. Just give folks ability to modify the radar colors to preference would be perfect.
Too bad you just start looking at the forecast and an ad not only pops up but won’t leave. No x to push. The forecasts are below average in accuracy. Any forecast on any service beyond 3 days is a guess, so keep that in mind as you look for an app. Please also note the answers to complaints: send a screenshot. Send a picture. You don’t understand what “blank white screen ” is? It looks like you might be in Germany. If that’s accurate, predicting the weather in Kentucky is a guess.
