I have an issue with being unable to upload files. It freezes and restarts over and over again. The app is useless if I can’t upload anything. It goes to 90% done and then freezes forever. This happens with all versions of terabox, on pc and android. Most likely more I haven’t tested it on other Operating Systems
So far, other than the typical ad based junk you run into with almost all apps these days, this app actually gives you 1Tb of free backup storage. Once you manage the apps notifications, there’s really no annoyances with this app. Had premium for a while, but I don’t store videos, or use any of the other premium features, so I went back to the free version. It’s basically the exact same thing as Google photos, but you won’t have to worry about your Google drive space running low anymore.
It’s occasionally crashed or frozen me out because it wasn’t always compatible with apps I uploaded media files from, but whenever I hit a snag I couldn’t get past I just uninstalled & reinstalled the app, which always fixed it. 🩹 However, overall, it’s an incredibly helpful, useful, valuable app that’s surprisingly generous, convenient & easy to use free of charge. 👍 It’s the most excellent cloud storage app I’ve seen so far. 💯 Hope they don’t start charging now cause I left a good review 😱
When I first used terabox, I used the free version. It was excellent. Plenty of storage for all my pictures. Now terabox is not like it once was. Now I can access my files after an excessive amount of ads. Really disappointing. I’m not saying terabox needs to give away their service, but why offer something without cost if people need to spend many frustrating minutes trying and trying to get in. If it’s not easy, I’m not going to stay.
The only issue I seem to have with this app is how there’s always an ad that plays whenever you leave the app, even when it’s still open in your tabs. I checked on my inphone storage just to make sure I uploaded them onto this platform so I could delete them from my phone’s crowded storage. After that, I kept getting an ad or two which one I’ve already seen 3 times. Overall, I don’t have any other problems with it.
The only thing good about this app is that it uploads videos. It drops your video quality then makes you pay for good quality. The videos can’t be skipped forward a little bit just goes back to the beginning. SOOO many pop up ads, and they know they take up like 10 minutes of your life everytime so they try to charge you to enjoy the app. If they took off the ads, fix video skip ahead, and had higher quality for free it would be the perfect app.
This app has great potential! But umm where’s support? I paid but it’s not showing I did. Also why can’t I set a back up time? I can’t get any image from it to certain apps. or find where it went when I downloaded it Probably user error, but I went ahead with the purchase. I would also like to see bigger than thumbnail size other than opening the whole app. The editor has colors and brushes like crazy. get your image ready for your next app. Cut out would be a great idea 🙏
Aside from the annoying, yet necessary, ads, it’s a fairly good app….until the unthinkable happens, like losing data. it does provide unique ways of earning a lot more to the already free 1TB of storage, but… This is my second attempt at using this app. For whatever reason I lost A LOT of precious data from the 1st time I used the app. I don’t understand why it all just disappeared, but now I’m only using it as a backup to my backup just to see what happens this go ’round.
I REALLY want to give this 5 stars!! Its a free cloud storage and you can earn plenty more space. Only problem I’ve had is the UI isn’t simple as it could be… And some of my files uploaded won’t open or download. Thats one thing a cloud has to do, save the files, upload download open… Its hit or miss. Uploading can take forever thank goodness it does it in the background. I’ve had to wait overnight sometimes for uploads to finish. Tighten it up and I’ll give you 5 stars. Thank you.
I’m changing my review to a 1 star. This app has become horrible. The ads are ridiculous, every few taps would trigger an ad, exiting and entering the app triggers an ad. What won’t trigger an ad? Also the duplicate file cleaner has stopped working. I clearly have duplicate files but the app won’t read them. This app has gone downhill and I won’t be staying in it any longer. Terrible management.
