Exceptional app and recording device all in one! I’ve read the unsatisfactory experiences some had, but I’m glad to say that i haven’t had any of those issues so far. Now I’ve had the app for only a few days so far, definitely under a week, and it’s a paid subscription that I’ve settled for. In my opinion, those who prefer an uninterrupted experience, should opt out for a paid subscription as well!! Glad to have such great experience using this app. PS: 6 months later, no issues, having a 💥💥
Updated review: adding one more star, I forgot about the free trial haha. Mannnn, the first time I used this app, when I really needed it to work, it failed on almost every level. Did not record but 5 segments that consisted of 3-5 seconds) of an hour long call. But, with that, I believe that it’s actually a good thing. I would’ve used it in a malicious way. I digress, please refund me the 6 or 7 bucks I paid for this useless app. 😁
This app will NOT work well if you have a cheaper, older phone, unless you’re on speaker. Now that I have a nicer, newer phone it makes ALL the difference. I can hear the other party pretty clearly. I tried another higher rated app, and constantly had to give the app access, and then I couldn’t erase any call logs, even though it never recorded. I have NONE of those issues with this app.
Solid 5 stars. I also trouble recording before I realized that you cannot record a Bluetooth or wifi calls, both must be off. You don’t need to keep your wifi or Bluetooth off, but once you’re on a call you need to record, turn both features off as soon as you realize it. You can block certain recording, set to only record certain callers, this app couldn’t possibly be better. The only paging feature is to upload/ store or edit throught the cloud. Recordings are able to be sent/ shared to new #
I do not want to be unfair to this app. It seems to work for some phones, and people have put hard work into it. On my Samsung Galaxy 7, a cheap phone, it does not record the other side of the call, Just me. For years I had ACR which worked fine until Android changed. If you can tell me how to record both sides. And it works. I will gladly buy it. As far as recording on que, it does. I will just have to resort to speakerphone and another phone to record on.
Used ACR from NLL for years, but it stopped working this summer. Cube ACR seems to be a viable replacement. Like NLL, Cube records over loudspeaker. That’s a downside when in public because I lose all privacy if I need to record the call. Other than that the only downside is the subscription. With NLLs app I was able to purchase a lifetime license for a one-time fee, and it followed me to each new phone. Cube wants to hit you with recurring charges to unlock full features. 😕
Stopped working. I made the changes suggested and app performance improved. However, the same thing happened again just recently (s22 ultra) only this time I can hear no sound when I try to play back the recording. Love the app, just hate when it stops working. Terrible ! I downloaded the app to record a specific call. I have made two calls as a trial run and the person I am speaking to their voice is not even audible. My voice is heard loud and clear. I’m looking on the app and it has no direction on correcting this problem. I would give it a zero star. My friend even directed me to this app because she has fostered children and records all calls so nothing is missed. So why is it not working on my phone? I have no idea. Please explain!
Terrible. It doesn’t work anymore. Don’t waste your time. I’m using a Samsung S8 and Android 9. It worked a couple years ago but now it just wastes hours of your life trying to get it to work which is a lost cause. Very disappointed. Just tried on my second phone. Brand new phone using Android 10. Doesn’t work at all. I should have listened to my own advice. Instead I wasted a lot more time. This app is 100% a POS.
The only thing I found useful was the dictaphone to record conversations in the same room but the phone conversations do not record both sides of the conversation only my side. Now that I’ve paid for it the dictaphonr feature does not work after my free trial period And I can’t figure out how to get the dictaphone to work to record both sides of the conversation it just shows zero seconds after it’s been recorded for more than that
