Too easy!!!! I tried a small voice recorder and it was incredibly difficult to operate. This is simple in a somewhat complicated life. I am a serious note taker to keep up with Financial, News and all the tasks I am responsible for consulting and managing several projects and properties. This app has simplified my life with the easiest audio recording I’ve ever had. I would give it a 10 if available.
No complaints! can record while on a call or just record thoughts songs and misc. The popup adds are a minor annoyance for a free app. Update 81622..I tried “My Recorder” app after I purchased a newer phone just to try another app and I was not pleased at all the were so many ads that you could not exit out of until an u viewed it.. so I came back to Easy Voice Recorder. I’m just looking for a free recording app without a lot of hiccups or annoyances and easy voice does the job for me!
Worthless. I was in hospital and wanted to record my Dr explaining my post-op. The screen says “1st recording ready to go”. So they came to my room & I press record since it’s ready but no, it wasn’t. 1st it wanted to set a location, then it wants you to select a folder. I went thru all setup prompts before using, went into all settings and none of these were in there to do. For it to say ready to record and then not be, is completely inconvenient. I didn’t get my recording.
Recordings keep stopping unexpectedly. I have been using this app for many years and never had an issue. However, due to the app unexpectedly closing while recording with my screen off I have lost the recording of several interviews that can’t be replaced. I have checked all the settings, permissions, defaults and priorities without success. As a result I have switched to another app that is working without problem. I can’t afford to have this problem happen again even if a solution is found.
The quality is awesome and the ads aren’t too large and they don’t make noise so they’re easy to live with. The only downside I’ve found is that you can’t trim the recordings down unless you upgrade, but other than that it’s a good app. Update: You can trim recordings, but only after watching a short ad any time you want to trim something (unless you upgrade of course).
I have been using this app for 4 years. It has truly been “easy,”.except when I forget to finalize a recording with the check. Fortunately, I think it auto stops at 2 hours, I’m not sure. The two reasons I give it 4 stars is first, it stores it on my limited phone space. Maybe it is my old cell, but I have to manually move it from the internal phone space. Secondly, I have not found an option to choose anything other than a wav file. Maybe I need an update, but haven’t been prompted.
This is a wonderful app. It is easy and does exactly what you expect a recorder to do. I love that the ads are a banner so I have the option to chose to click on instead of being forced too or interrupted. If I could give a 10 I would. I’ve used a different app for years but grew tired of unwanted ads and the difficulty to listen back to my recordings. Which is why I needed it. I am glad I found this app.
This is a great reliable app. Not only does it record the events & conversations I need to save. I use it to help me remember stuff. I have memory issues and I record little clips on this then have my phone alarm play the clip. This really helps. I don’t have to pick up the phone to know what the alarms about. I already know because it’s telling me. Still love it been using it for years!
Unfortunately the new update in 2022 to this app has a HORRIBLE GLITCH. A Giant ad appears when you are recording and there’s no way to remove it. It blocks the functions. You can’t stop or pause the recording. You can only turn off the power to the phone to stop the recording. RIDICULOUS. Please fix asap!! I give the app 0 stars because of this GLITCH. It wouldn’t allow me to post without giving at least 1 star. I’ve emailed too.
Look no further. This is a thoroughly excellent app. I’ve recorded about 700 tracks, from 15sec to 2.5h. Super easy to use, and packed with excellent features like edit tracks quickly, cleanly (trim, crop), resume recording a track, Dropbox back up and much more. Two minor feature requests to put it a little further over the top: First is more speed control (currently in 0.25x increments) would be far more useful to me if 0.10 or 0.05 increments for more efficient transcribing. Second would be ability to insert a digital marker to return to points of interest.
