Definitely worth the money I’ve spent to gain the features, 2 bucks here and a 8 dollar package there for a few features that would have cost 12 bucks if I bought it individually. It’s not professional standard with the glitches. But Definitely easy to use and handy when you trying to make beats. This has a lot of potential and glad I got it before they got more expensive
I love the loops and that you can edit them. I see some people are complaining about that this app doesn’t fit their genre of music, but they can just make their own sounds. I’m not at all unhappy about the new prices, but the unmix thing doesn’t work. The app crashes 1/4 of the way through some songs and immediately on some others. This is the only thing I would change. For now I will look into other apps, but if you could fix this it would be incredibly appreciated.
Don’t bother. Start mixing a little bit and get really excited because it’s actually pretty cool. Good sound and easy to use. Pretty decent ability to change loops, modify the sounds provided, and could have been nice. Turns out it’s all leading up to get you to spend money. Basically everything you’d want to use cost extra. Not just one set price, each thing separated, recordings 2 bucks, modifying the sounds like 2.99, something else was 5$ no clue total cost. CAN NOT RECORD WITHOUT PAYING.
One of a number of apps that used to be great until the developers decided to let greed guide them. I’m not a music pro but I enjoyed putting a few sounds together, record and download them and if it turned out that this would become more of a hobby I might have paid for it. Not anymore. Without the recording option there is nothing that attracts me to Remix Live. And neither can I recommend it anymore. Goodbye.
At 1st it worked great. Lately I’ve noticed more pops and static on the loops of the sample packs I purchased. I’ve tried everything advised and that I could think of but still it persists. I’m really disappointed because I was having a lot of success recording some good tracks with it too. If someone could get in touch with me and help me fix it I would gladly change my review back to 5 stars.
I really like this app. My kids and I have been having a great time messing around with it. The built-in library is great the tools are pretty easy to use even if you don’t have much of an idea what you’re doing. My only problem is the Importer. I have a bunch of old samples from years ago and the Importer only works if they are in the downloads folder on my pixel slate. Nesting the folders for organizational purposes does not work which seems like a major oversight.
Me, personally, I do not recommend the app for users who are looking for harmonious instrumental, this has basic beats, that are really only used for freestyle, I don’t like how the music doesn’t play outside the app so you can’t listen to your beat while doing something else. Umm, the app has potential but it’s not as good as I feel it could be.
.I know others may not have a great experience like me, because we all have different needs & tastes. However, for my extremely tight budget and picky tastes, this is a wonderful, easy to use app. It’s free and works well free (there’s even an option to record your music in free mode and i love that!) but there are cheap, professional sounding sound packs to purchase if wanted. Sound Cloud doesn’t uploading doesn’t work though, surely due to copyrights, so why have a direct link?
perfect app to do my own remixes and buy the music sample packets but later on it doesn’t save my data . It ends up messing up everything and having to start over the beat. buying the samples were exciting but then I have two music sample packets that completely stopped working! I would say it’s great to begin with but not great for the long terms. It whenever I tap on my mix it lags instead of playing immediately. It doesn’t work like it used to.
Been using this for a very long time but recently, been encountering some issues consistently. 2 pads on finger drumming mode act up every time now. When I attach a link to either pad, It plays the right pads but adds 3-6 other pads at the same time. It never fixes, I even tried to redo them, same issue. Also, sometimes when I’m playing a sample that I imported, the sample randomly stops before it even completes. Please fix this, I use RL to make beats for SoundCloud.
