I have been using this app off and on for years. It is worse than ever, constantly freezing. I have uninstalled, cleaned my tablet, reinstalled, and it makes no difference. It always freezes when it’s trying to scroll through ads. It’s like it makes you stop on the ads but then freezes and I just have to shut it down. I have complained to the station in the past about this to no avail, no reply. Done. Moving on to KOMO.
There is only one Complaint here on my end it does what it’s supposed to do I just wish that the videos would play a lot smoother and the ads on these videos are crazy I just don’t understand how the ads play perfectly fine, but the video your looking to play loads slow … and lags, and I have the best network Xfinity and Verizon, so I’m just not understanding, maybe an update would do this app some justice, but it’s not a deal breaker, for the most part I can just read the article. good app.
Useless! Takes forever to open and DOES NOT HAVE TRAFFIC. If it does, it’s hidden away as if a five year old was allowed to do their UX. Seems they want you to install a useless maps/routing partner app because they couldn’t be bothered to provide the functionality themselves though. Probably going to write a stupid webview app for my own use to replace it since that’s all it was anyway (with the addition of ads). WSDOT app isn’t great but is lightweight and also works as a replacement.
I installed the app so I might be able to see the weather forecast in a better format. But as usual, there’s no provision for us hicks outside of Seattle to personalize the information we want. The weather in Snohomish county is not the same as Seattle and it would be convenient to be able to change reporting parameters to reflect that. This is an update. The app has turned into a great one. I use it every day.
Links in drop down don’t always work. Videos for articles don’t always match and the information in them versus the typed content is always different. Due to info being different you can’t play video and read at the same time it will stop and if you scroll up to continue it will play another ad again. Splash page structure is confusing and doesn’t flow like others.
I ready liked the older version of this app but now it is too cluttered and hard to navigate. As I try to scroll down it is constantly moving back up, on it’s own, as object finish to load. I have used it for years but am stopping and going to a different channels app that has a better design.
This app sucks. I am able watch news. It is always freezing.
IF you can get a stream to load it’s not worth watching because stories are cutoff with random commercials. Want to watch the weather? Too bad, here’s more commercials. Interested in this story? Too bad, more commercials. Used to be a great way to stream news, now it’s so chopped up I can’t watch anymore.
Very informative and timely local news updates
Opened the app to a pop-up notification that the app is tracking my location even when not in use. I have had location turned off and now I just don’t trust it so I will uninstall. There are so many ads that I hardly use it anyway.
