The selection of movies is better than other free ad supported services, but please take a look at Tubi for how to build a proper Android app. If it wasn’t for the selection, it would be 1* for me. If you want to do anything but watch a program straight through on solely the device you’re using, you’re going to be frustrated. Poor place retention, no casting, no watchlist, and less than straightforward categories are pretty ridiculous at this point.
Loving it. The options movie or series seem endless, enjoyable and some of the movies were on my list to rent. No problems with streaming, good quality of picture. Ads are not that annoying. Movies actually show how many breaks. The only occasional problem I seem to be having is once I exit show I can’t get back in. Doesn’t happen every time and can’t figure out the reason. No matter what I try, I can’t access that movie or series again. Anybody else? Thanks if you took the time to read.
This is easily the most frustrating streaming app. It often won’t pause or play and rarely saves your place in the show or the episode you were watching. It’s slow and the commercials come at the most random times. It makes me not want to continue watching a show, even when I love it. I have to find the place I left off and sometimes experience multiple ad breaks while I’m doing it. Is this on purpose so we have to watch more ads? This isn’t a free service if you’re robbing me of my time.
This app is terrible, it’s even worse on my PS5, whatever ur watching if ur trying to back out, it will start loading and freeze, the only solution is to restart the application, and it will be doing that every single time forever. U can’t save a show to watch later, there’s no wishlist, there’s absolutely nothing. The only positive thing about this app is that they have some really decent movies and TV shows, but everything else make it terrible and frustrating.
About half the time when trying to resume a title, the app pops up an error about not being able to resume playback. It even has gotten so bad as to not correctly resume a title after 10+ tries. Being provided the opportunity to choose ads is needed. Plus, when the ads interrupt a program, after the ads have played through, attempting to go back to see what was disjointed often results in the ENTIRE BLOCK OF ADS BEING REPEATED… This is NOT satisfactory. This app is always slow and has very long ads. The movie selection is not very good. Usually movies are blurry because of a consistent buffering problem that never gets corrected. I have a great internet connection but the picture is still blurry. I recommend Tubi because they have better movies and constantly add new titles. No buffering issues with Tubi.
Commercials are randomly placed with no warning. It thinks it’s okay to start playing the first episode of a random series when you reach the last episode of yours. The continue watching page should let you go to a series details to view the episode list. You should be able to remove items from the continue watching page. Menu buttons randomly sort without logic. It often thinks you’re still viewing ads even though ads are done but the ad timer remains and the controls go away. UX disaster.
The application needs a setting that allows the account to control automatically playing the next episode. The value would be either True or False. When the value is False, the current episode plays until the end of the credits and stops. Then gives the user a choice to continue to the next episode or back up a level. When the value is true, the current episode plays into the credits 10 seconds before continuing to the next episode. It is necessary to play the episode longer.
Please do not read early reviews. As all are horrible. Maybe they had some issues when it first came out but now it does have a search feature, it does play where you left off, idk about the cast feature, I just downloaded, but even if it doesn’t, just download on your TV. Duh. It doesn’t seem to have a watchlist, but at least you can search now. Minus one star for the watchlist. Ads are not bad either. 3 in a half hour show each 30s-1min long each. Idk about movies haven’t gotten that far yet.
Decent content but app has extremely limited functionality. There’s no save list or removing anything from “continue watching.” You can share a title, a useless feature, compared to the ability to track what you watch. You can’t use Chromecast at all. There’s no way to sort searches, so finding what you want is awkward, unless you have the exact title you want to see. What a disappointment.
